Meet CartonCraft’s Interns from Michigan State University

Michigan State University is one of the top packaging programs in the country.. The School of Packaging teaches students all facets of the industry—including packaging engineering, design, manufacturing, and development. This semester, CartonCraft was proud to offer internships to two students from ongoing partnership with the school, to give them hands-on experience in their areas of interest.

Erica Bui, Engineering Intern

Erica Bui’s internship has an engineering focus. During her internship, she’ll have the chance to get practical experience using engineering software. “I’m excited to work on real projects and create physical examples that bring designs to life,” says Erica. “The best part of my day is working with design and prepress, especially when I get to handle graphics. I also enjoy collaborating with the engineers, where I learn valuable skills related to my major.”

Evelyn Clark, Sales Intern

Evelyn Clark is interning with a Sales focus, offering support to the sales and marketing  team and learning more about developing relationships with customers. She will also participate in live projects with customers, and see the process from start to finish. Evelyn says what drives her is, “This is what my whole school career has been about so to be able to use what I have learned in the classroom in real life scenarios will be a fun test for myself.”

CartonCraft is so happy to have both Evelyn and Erica on the team as they both bring enthusiasm, energy, and great ideas to their work. They both have a bright future in the packaging industry.
